Looking ahead to November for Engaged Spirituality, I wanted to share with you all that we will be discussing Disciplines of the Spirit by Howard Thurman. I bought it through Barnes and Noble and it took about a week to get to me. I would encourage you all to see if you can get the book, Disciplines of the Spirit. I will still do summaries, but summaries of Howard Thurman’s works can never impart his tone and depth.
Wade, Carol and Luverne have also suggested books for Engaged Spirituality for next year. Thank you! I will send the titles onto you in December.
